Palo santo (latin name Bursera graveolens) is a tree native to Peru, Ecuador and other South American countries. It grows in dry tropical forests and produces very fragrant resin. In Spanish, palo santo means "sacred tree".

Palo santo has been used by indigenous peoples for centuries to clear negative energy. Additionally, many people find the aroma of palo santo relaxing, so it is often used to relieve stress. It is thought to have a purifying, cleansing effect on the body and mind.

Usage
Ignite the Palo Santo stick at its tip using a lighter. Blow out the fire at the end of the incense stick and place it in a container. Your Palo Santo smoke will smoke like this for a while.
