This hand-woven rug is specially designed and woven on a loom. Working with craftswomen from all over Türkiye, each of the rugs we produce is unique.

Since our rugs are produced with root dye, you can safely use them in your bedroom or your child's room.

Since each product is special, the rug you purchase may differ from the photo.

Care Instructions for Handmade Rugs

We use 100% wool in our handmade rugs. The better you care for them, the longer they will bring beauty to your space. Check out our tips below for a longer Studio Potato rug experience!

Vacuuming:
Vacuum regularly, but use a vacuum without a beater bar or set it on the highest pile setting to avoid damaging the fibers.

Vacuum both sides of the rug to prevent moths and other pests.

Please pay attention to the fringes, avoid vacuuming over them to prevent splits.

Spot Cleaning:
Treat spills immediately with a clean, white cloth and avoid rubbing, as this can spread the stain and damage the fibers.

Use a mild, pH-neutral soap and cold water or white vinegar for spot cleaning. Test on a small area first.

Professional Cleaning:
Take your rug to a professional cleaner every 1-3 years, depending on its use.

Please make sure that the cleaner is an expert in handmade rugs. Often times we encounter color bleeding or shrinkage due to incorrect cleaning techniques.

Avoid Sunlight: Keep your rug out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Padding: You can use a quality rug pad to prevent slipping. The pads also help to maintain the shape of the rug and provide extra cushioning.

Storage:
If you want to store your rug, clean it thoroughly and roll it up with a sheet cloth. You can fold your rugs, but this can cause fold marks.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. You can also use unscented mothballs to prevent unwanted chewing!

It is usually delivered to the cargo courier within 1-3 business days. Orders placed after 16:00 will be shipped the next day.

Delivery time may be longer for products that can be produced after order, such as furniture. For urgent orders, you can get information by contacting us via Instagram before ordering.

If you notice any crushing or damage to your cargo package, we kindly ask you to take a photo/video and share it with us before opening the package. This step is of great importance in terms of detecting any damage that may occur during transportation and managing the process smoothly with the cargo company.
